If you’re here on my site for the first time you might be asking yourself, who exactly is Pamela Lynn? Well, where do I begin? “Pam” as most people call me is the owner, mompreneur and lead designer at Pamela Lynn Interiors. I”m also crazy about all things home décor.

My journey is all about helping homeowners feel happy, relaxed and comforted in their home. I want people to understand they can have luxurious, sophisticated spaces that are casual, comfortable and affordable. Who knew, right?

COLOUR IS MY SUPER POWER

Long before I ventured into Interior Decorating, I knew my superpower was colour. I could see undertones and knew why some things worked and some didn’t. I wanted to hone that skill and up level my knowledge. Fast forward to today – I’m an experienced Certified Colour Expert and most recently I’ve become well studied in colour psychology and its effect on home design.

What does that mean to you? Together we will make sure your space is beautifully cohesive AND more importantly it will give you all the “feels” -right to your core.

I’M MAD ABOUT COLOUR!

Not in a go crazy with colour in your home kinda way BUT more in a way that brings colour into your home and allows you to feel comforted.

I strongly believe a well designed & decorated home can make you feel happy and bring you joy. When your home is uniquely you, functions for you & your family and is drop dead gorgeous you will walk in that door and feel a sense of pride.

We recently renovated our cottage in Kawartha Lakes the best part of the renovation was when our friends came over and spent the evening. While sitting in the family room, our friends commented –“ this room is so warm & cozy AND beautiful”. BINGO- exactly the “look & feel” I wanted in the room. I wasn’t going for energized or tranquil…I wanted inviting, intimate and not hard to look at ☺. How did I achieve this ?…..colour had a lot to do with it, along with fabric choices and the layout of the room.

SOMETHING ABOUT ME YOU PROBABLY WOULDN’T GUESS

I did the same thing at our home, in New Tecumseth, ON. It was a little different as we have much higher ceilings- so you have to design things differently to achieve the same look & feel. Wait- maybe I should back this story up a little……….did I mention that I live on a farm- like a real working farm!

No, I don’t do any of the farm work, ok maybe unloading some hay but I’m not allowed to drive the tractors or handle any of the heavy equipment….yet. 🙂 I like to refer to myself as the real life “Green Acres” show and if you don’t know that show- I’m likely old enough to be your Mom.

MY DREAM HOME

About three years ago we embarked on custom building our dream on 100 acres in Tottenham, ON. The “Hubs” is a passionate part time farmer and comes from a farming family. I come from the suburbs and had to adjust to country living. Let’s just say I own rubber boots and some plaid jackets now ☺. Plaid will still go with my heels, right?

I like to think that I was able to create and “perfect” the “Sophisticated Style for Casual Living” design style. It’s a whole lot of stylish comfort for your home, that wraps you in a big hug of cozy, beauty and timeless design.

Now, I can proudly sing- “Farm Livin is the life for me”.
